BUSINESS PLAN MANAGER
Team Volunteer 5-10 h / w
Location: Vienna, Austria

Responsiblities:

  • Participates in the development of Business Plan Projection for grant application
  • Participates in the Review of business financial planning
  • Participates in the development, recommendation and implementation policies and procedures relative to financial proposal matters
  • Participates in the preparation and maintenance of ongoing operating budget
  • Participates in the development revenue recovery/collection mechanisms
  • Participates in the planning and conducting diverse and complex management studies to provide financial advisory services
  • Participates in the financial review of requests for proposals by making recommendations; may prepare requests for proposals
  • Participates in the interfacing with agency officials,  donors,  investors,  funders, and budget  colleagues,  program representatives and Managers  in order to compile and analyze data and recommend improvements or solutions
  • Participates in the analyzing pertinent legislation and state/federal regulation to anticipate the effect on the agency’s operations
  • Participates in the planning, assigning, reviewing and evaluating the work of the team

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Relevant work experience in investment banking, accounting or management consulting, preferably with some NGOs  experience
  • Advanced finance and accounting skills
  • Entrepreneurial orientation, able to work in less structured environments with minimal oversight
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with proven ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office package, specifically a high proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with mining databases and ability to translate financial needs with IT functionality
